Bell Community Foundation Provides $10,000 Grant to Family Promise of Bell County
The Bell Community Foundation has provided a $10,000 grant to Family Promise of Bell County. “We’re so grateful to have the Bell Community Foundation’s support of our work, directly impacting children and families in our community experiencing homelessness.” said Executive Director, Rucker Preston. “Because of the foundation’s support, more families will be served through our guest shelter program, in the Promise House.”
Family Promise of Bell County is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower families experiencing homelessness to achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. “Supporting families and the entire household unit to address the issues of chronic homelessness can change lives,” said Bell Community Foundation Board Member, Nikki Morrow, “Being able to provide this grant and support Family Promise acknowledges this need in our community and the positive impact this has now and into the future of those lives involved.”
The Bell Community Foundation is an IRS approved public charity founded in 2018. The foundation is a community partner and resource for nonprofit organizations in Bell County and the surrounding areas.
